I'm also a loose and flowy tee person but I like having some fitted ones for layering or under jackets. I've been through a couple of fitted tee patterns, mostly Burda and Kwik Sew, and still don't have the fit in the back and shoulders that I like. Some day I'll sit down as you have and just get it done!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00404449004824638306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-60477827974399795712012-11-13T10:06:13.422-06:002012-11-13T10:06:13.422-06:00I love it! One of the big downsides to purchasing fabric without a plan is exactly this -- I always get way too much. For me, that little bit of fabric hides my belly nicely.<br /><br />But, I can see how it may not be what you want and I do think this version is super cute. I like the waistband on my yellow one but I don't think it's a feature I'd like to have on most my t-shirts.<br />I'm so excited about your sweater! Your first one has inspired me to try the pattern in a woven but in an animal print inspired fabric (it's not really animal print but it kind of has the same feel).dixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17270266160105135365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-88311746261861418212012-11-11T19:21:14.675-06:002012-11-11T19:21:14.675-06:00Yeah, you're right. Also, sometimes I feel like I need to practice things like the sway back adjustment (which I usually ignore 'cause I'm too lazy). It was just one of those things where I got it in my head to do it so it must be done!dixiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17270266160105135365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-43202009457796387562012-11-11T19:13:44.742-06:002012-11-11T19:13:44.742-06:00Cute! I've made many Renfrews myself and although I'm pretty happy, I don't think the waistband is particularly flattering on me. May need to omit it myself next time! By the way, I've already cut out my 2nd Hot Chocolate Sweater from the softest wool blend ever...thanks so much for a great pattern ;o)Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12632906323410997355noreply@blogger.com
