Your funny baby shirts could even become your classic favorites among your baby’s items. It’s enjoyable and it spares me some bucks to spend on other things. ;) I think the reason why you said it is most satisfying to make such is because the piece you’ve sewn is worn with no complaints. Haha! Unlike with teens who have very strong feelings with what they want and don’t want. Anyway, I love the polo. It’s easy to fit such a happy shade in babies. :DJerri Washamhttp://www.dottielottie.co.uk/designer-girls-clothing/catimininoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-63266986759050121242012-09-18T04:48:42.325-05:002012-09-18T04:48:42.325-05:00That looks like a Baby Gap shirt - but better!

Mine was just 2 rectangles (sewn short side to long side), but hers was an actual pattern with a hood and a front pocket (like a hoodie sweatshirt pocket). I knew she'd love it when she kept begging to wear mine before we opened gifts.

She wore it until she could no longer get her head through the opening. As with anything I sew for others, I'm nervous about screwing it up, even for a baby who knows no better!Andrea (four square walls)https://www.blogger.com/profile/16918273093902968654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-37605211341178716062012-09-13T23:42:34.369-05:002012-09-13T23:42:34.369-05:00For the past 3 years I have sewn almost every arti...For the past 3 years I have sewn almost every article of clothing my niece and nephew own. I Love sewing for them but I think the kids prefer toys. My sister really appreciates it. On the upside it has given me the confidence to start making my own clothes.ybatnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-39047670167798467722012-09-13T19:20:39.877-05:002012-09-13T19:20:39.877-05:00That pattern matching is just beautiful! I have three children and I do enjoy sewing for them here and there (all my sewing, really, is just here and there). But I do imagine I might like sewing for other people's kids once in a while when mine are grown because it is fun and quick(er).Crystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14292164227898629226noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6091733382896574533.post-12192374834507318252012-09-13T15:23:09.056-05:002012-09-13T15:23:09.056-05:00Awwww... They're usually really quick projects that don't eat up a bunch of fabric, and you can fudge on fit a bit. I've sewn clothes for friends with children and for my niece and nephew. So lucky that I have one of each!Christinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15811243723127742330noreply@blogger.com
